Breeders of Exceptional Bengal Cats since 1997

Glitterglam Bengals have been specialist breeders of top quality Bengals since 1997 for pet, show and breeding. We have almost 20 experience in exporting cats and kittens worldwide, and also of course providing pet Bengal kittens to homes in the UK and abroad. It is very difficult when buying from abroad to feel confident and comfortable when you can't visit the breeder. We can provide first class references from all over the world. You just need to look at our comments page to see our positive feedback.

Our bengals have enjoyed much show success, winning both Best in Breeds and Best in Show awards.

We have imported the very best lines from abroad to compliment and develop our bengal breeding programme. We breed for rosettes, type, coat, health and temperament in our bengals.

Bengals available from us include brown rosetted, snows, marbles and silvers.

We are conveniently located at West Deeping, approx. 6 miles from Peterborough City Centre and 45 minutes from London Kings Cross by train. We are easily accessible from all areas of the country, and anyone interested in a kitten is quite welcome to come and visit. We are happy to export and can ship worldwide.

Equally if it is difficult for you to collect we can arrange a delivery quotation throughout the U.K.

Our kittens are born in our spacious indoor nursery area, where they get lots of tlc, and cuddles. The queens and their kittens have their own clean, individual heated rooms so they don't get stressed. We also have a large covered garden play area where the cats and kittens can play out on the grass and run off their energy.

We are pleased to welcome visitors and show them around.

Our Story

An Idea is Born

Amazing to think how we ended up so passionate and involved with bengals, savannahs and now servals. We have owned cats as pets all our life, and very sadly in 1997 lost a non pedigree cat to the roads. Desperate to find a replacement for our distraught 12 year old daughter, we stumbled across the bengals and somehow ended up with our first breeding bengal kitten on the active register. Not a well researched plan, as at the time we were working as IFA'S but it quickly became an absolute passion and we learnt so much in the years that followed! It was just a hobby for many years.

Expanding our lives

Savannahs and servals have been a more recent development. We love them all equally, bengals are arguably the most stunning domestic cats in the world, and savannahs are just so adorably sweet! Meanwhile the servals who require a wild animal licence to own, are such an honour and pleasure to have around and share our lives with.

Who works here?

Below you can see who works here and how it all comes together.
We also have volunteer helpers during the years, along with girls from the College who need work experience.

Cathy Wheatley

PA & Deputy Boss

Cathy, our daughter, is a SUPERSTAR, super charming and helpful whatever the enquiry!

She has previously bred bengals, currently breeds alpacas, and adores horses as well. Cathy runs all the administration side of things very efficiently, and it is thanks to Cathy and the team that we can escape on holiday, and hopefully everything continues smoothly.

Cath

Cattery manager

Although Cath is a relative newcomer she is a super asset and a natural born manager. She has worked for many years at a large cattery in Manchester, and also has the following qualifications: HND in Health & Social care, Anatomy and Physiology Diploma, Holistic therapy Diploma & BHS Riding instructor and 1st aider.

Paige

Cattery assistant

Paige came to work here through Stamford College when she needed to do work experience hours for her Animal College course.

She is now doing an HND in Animal Management/Care and now works here officially. Her ongoing course is of course a great help.
